As we leap into the future, our world is increasingly shaped by entrepreneurial change-makers seeking to innovate and improve society. The Uplift Foundation is hosting an entrepreneurship summit on August 14th to engage and inspire students from around the globe.

SPEAKERS
JOHN AZUBUIKE
Vice President, Owl Ventures
John is a Vice President at Owl Ventures where he focuses on investments in education and talent.
Prior to Owl, John was on the Growth Buyout Team at Technology Crossover Ventures, was an early stage investor at KEC Ventures, and began his career as a robotics engineer at the New York Stem Cell Foundation. John serves on the board of A Method Public Schools, a network of six schools in Oakland and Richmond California. John received a B.Sc in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University.
GAUTHAM VISWANATHAN
Chief Product Officer & Co‑Founder, Workato
Gautham co-founded Workato to democratize Workflow Automation. Today with over 7,000 customers, Workato is the leader in Workflow Automation. Founded in 2013, Workato has over 500 employees and has raised $250M+ from leading VCs.
Gautham was an early employee of TIBCO, where he held several leadership positions in Engineering, Product, and Corporate Development. At TIBCO, Gautham created the first integrated middleware platform, BusinessWorks, that became the template for the modern cloud integration platforms of today. BusinessWorks powered TIBCO’s growth from a startup to one of the top names in Enterprise software. After TIBCO, Gautham was CEO of iProfile, a data company, which was acquired by ZoomInfo.
KAILASH SUNDARAM
White House Legal Aide; Former Investor at DVP
Kailash Sundaram is currently a Legal Aide at the White House. He previously worked on the Biden presidential campaign and was an investor at Detroit Venture Partners, the venture capital arm of Dan Gilbert. DVP's investments include StockX, 100 Thieves, Finicity, Genius, and Vroom (NASDAQ: VRM). Kailash was also a Venture For America Fellow. He received an A.B. from Harvard University.
ZHAO MA
Startup Operator and Investor, Business Operations, Atomic
Zhao is a startup operator and investor. He currently works in Business Operations at Atomic, the venture studio behind Homebound, Bungalow, and many other cutting-edge startups. He previously worked as an Investor at Invest Detroit Ventures, the most active pre-seed to seed venture fund in Michigan. Zhao received a BS in Computer Science and Neuroscience from Duke University.
